Test Link
If you would like to test your connection to Zoom, click here. This will open a test meeting. If you need to upgrade to a newer version, Zoom will prompt you to do so.
You will know that your connection is working if you see a message: “Please wait for the host to start this meeting.” It should also display the name Orlando Distaff Day Test Meeting.
This meeting is never going to actually start, so once you receive the above message you can disconnect. You should be good to connect to either the Main Stage or Lounge at the appropriate times.
The Main Stage
The Main Stage meeting is only open during the program times listed on the Event Schedule. If you connect at any other time, you will receive the message “Please wait for the host to start this meeting.” If you are joining the meeting from a desktop or laptop, you should be able to join by clicking the link below. If you are joining from a mobile device, you may need to enter the passcode 436253.
The FTWG-sponsored Lounge
The Lounge opens at 9:00 pm on January 7 and remains open for the next 24 hours. Once the Lounge is open, you are able to enter and leave at any time. Please remember that while the Lounge is unmoderated, we do expect you to adhere to the Event Code of Conduct while visiting there. If you are joining the meeting from a desktop or laptop, you should be able to join by clicking the link below. If you are joining from a mobile device, you may need to enter the passcode 924013.
